L.A., I love you
And you are not alone. A list of resources to help support this community: donation centers, volunteer opportunities, animal support, brands providing products, individual donation pages, + more.
I don’t know where to start. This has been, and continues to be, devastating to witness. So many people have lost their homes, their memories, and their safe places. The aftermath of these fires is unfathomable—the displaced families, the frightened animals, the jobs lost—the list goes on.
Watching this unfold from the other side of the world, feeling helpless, has been incredibly difficult. I wanted to create this as a resource for those affected by the fires, those nearby who can help physically, and those further away who can contribute through donations.
The community has rallied together and amid the smoke and ash, the strength and resilience of the people bring me to tears. We have a beautiful, strong, and unwavering community that will help each other through this time.
The power of social media truly shines in moments like this. If you are able—find a way to contribute. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, makes a difference.
I’ve seen so many people posting and reposting resources to help, and if this helps just one person—it makes all the difference.
Below is a list of donation centers, volunteer opportunities, restaurants, brands, and GoFundMe’s supporting those affected. I will update this as frequently and thoroughly as I can.
Please read the information provided in the links carefully, as some organizations specify what they currently need. Some may be at capacity for physical supplies but are still seeking monetary donations to continue their relief efforts.
